2020 Blue Pyrenees Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Pyrenees – Blue Pyrenees Estate was established in 1963 by the French company Rémy Martin, who were famous for making Cognac brandy. Château Rémy was renamed Blue Pyrenees Estate in 1982 and was purchased by the long standing central Victorian family the Richmond-Smith’s in 2019. They’ve continued to evolve over the years and are proud to make authentic, world-class wines that do the Pyrenees region justice.
Fragrant red forest fruits, wild strawberry, raspberry, plum & blackberry complemented by mocha and subtle oak aromas. The palate has blackcurrant and raspberry fruit complemented by dark chocolate and cedar oak flavours. Proudly medium bodied with classical Cabernet Sauvignon structure with fine grain tannins which contribute to an elegant, persistent finish.
Can be enjoyed now or cellared with confidence for 1-2 years.
